He was born to parents John D. Zanthos and Ima Louise Sullivan, on 11/16/1948 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
John is survived by Shirley Culp, sister, Tonya Taylor, daughter, Anna Zanthos, daughter, Jack Zanthos, son, and Neil Woodley, son.
