TUSCALOOSA Emmitt Paul Sesson Sr., age 63, of Tuscaloosa, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013, at Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. Vernon Swift officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Rollins' Mortuary directing. Viewing will be today beginning at 11 a.m. at the mortuary. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary. The body will lie in state one hour prior to services at the church.

He is survived by his wife, Juliette Jones Sesson; son, Emmitt Paul Sesson Jr. (Bathsheba); daughter, Juliette Robyn Sesson; four grandchildren, Emia La'Nette Sesson, Emmitt Paul Sesson III, Zelindria Brown, and Shalindria Brown; sister, Virginia Owens; and two brothers, Eddie James Sesson and Elbert Sesson.
