Eddie Humphreys, age 73, passed away July 21, 2022 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Lois Humphreys; and his beloved cat, Coco.

He is survived by his sister, Beth Berry of Daphne, Ala.; nephew, Dan Berry of Auburn, Ala.; niece, Kim Berry Williams (David) of Daphne, Ala.; two great-nephews and one great-niece, all of Daphne, Ala.

Eddie loved life. He loved his family and his friends. He had recently purchased his dream car, a yellow Chevrolet Camaro, but now has his wings and can really fly! He loved the drag races, especially Holiday Beach, and helping his friends line up their cars for a burnout! He had so many friends; and if you were his friend… how lucky you were. We, as his family, are so grateful to each of you.

Eddie was a proud Navy veteran; and retired, reluctantly, after 20 years of dedicated service from the US Army Corps of Engineers.
