Mark A. Henderson, born 1950 to Lawrence Henderson and Louise Harper Henderson; died 7-20-1969 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Buried in Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery, Tuscaloosa, AL.
Mark Henderson died, I believe, on the night of 26 July 1969 from injuries recieved in a motorcycle accident at the corner of Queen City and University Ave. Witnesses said that as he waited for the light to change, a pick up turning left off University hit him head on. Mark was an engineering student at the University. After his mother's death less than a year earlier, he lived alone in their home. Mark had looked so forward to the moon launch and that of course became a date that I would remember him. As he was killed in the summer few knew of his death. May his soul and the souls of all the dead through the mercies of God rest in peace.
