

Brenda Etheridge Holleman Harris, 75, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2025.
Born on March 17, 1950, Brenda was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Etheridge. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ray Conley Harris. Brenda is survived by her son, Bradley Holleman; her stepchildren, Allison Harris Phillips (Shawn), Bruce Harris (Uki), and Keith Harris (Nancy); her siblings, Rodney Etheridge (Beverly), Donna Ross (Ernie), and Kay Brown (Reid); her cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her dear friend and devoted caretaker, Satonya Parker, to whom the family offers their deepest gratitude for her love and care.
A proud graduate of Tuscaloosa High School and the University of Alabama, Brenda earned her degree in Accounting and went on to work as a Certified Public Accountant for more than 40 years, serving with dedication and professionalism at various companies throughout her career.
Brenda’s life was filled with curiosity, creativity, and joy. She loved traveling abroad, ballroom dancing, exploring art, and cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide. She was a devoted member of the Concordia Dance Club, The Red Hats Association, and numerous other organizations, where she formed lasting friendships and shared her many talents.
Brenda will be remembered for her warmth, grace, and zest for life, as well as her unwavering love for her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, hard work, and a spirit that embraced every adventure.
A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held on August 27 at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood, Alabama, with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. and a service at 12:00 p.m.
