TUSCALOOSA Nancy DeLoach Twilley, age 63, of Tuscaloosa, passed away September 16, 2013, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Friday, September 20, 2013, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Troy Nicholson officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Chapel visitation will be held 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She is survived by her husband, Leldon Twilley; son, Daniel Anderson (Sabrina) of Tuscaloosa; sisters, Nina Legate of Atlanta, Ga., and Amy Sylvester of Birmingham, Ala.; parents, Bill and Nelda DeLoach; and grandson, Waylon Anderson of Tuscaloosa.
She loved traveling and teaching and advising students. She worked at the University of Alabama and Shelton State Community College.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Jimmy Hale Mission in Birmingham, Ala.
