TUSCALOOSA Pamela Coryea Turner, age 59, of Tuscaloosa, died March 3, 2009, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Ken Cheek officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her father, William Evan Coryea, and her brothers, William Evan Coryea, Jr. and Charles Timothy Coryea.

Survivors include her husband, the love of her life for 42 years, Robert L. Turner; her daughter, Leigh Turner Cooper; her sons, Robert Christopher Turner (Ashley) and David Todd Turner (Alison); her sister, Cherry Coryea Mattison (Danny); her mother, Jean Tubb Coryea; her grandchildren, Michael and Amanda Hobson, Jon Eric and Ashlyn Turner, and Tyler, Will, and Drew Turner; her aunts, June Hamner and Sue Coleman; her uncle, Bob Tubb; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was a very loving, caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Her life on this earth has ended, but her journey in heaven has just begun. She will be greatly missed by everyone, but she has left us with many fond memories to cherish 'til we meet again.
