OGILVIE - Funeral services for Helen Roddy Ogilvie, 49, who passed away January 22, 2000, will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at North Jacksonville Baptist Church, with Rev. Chris Coram and Rev. Katherine Young officiating. Interment will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park, Tuscaloosa, AL on Thursday, January 27, 2000. The family will receive friends Monday (TODAY) from 6pm till 8pm at George H. Hewell and Son Northside Funeral Home. Born October 17, 1950 in Tuscaloosa, AL, Mrs. Ogilvie has been a resident of Jacksonville for 28 years, having moved here from Alabama. She was a member of North Jacksonville Baptist Church and had worked as a medical technician at Shands Jacksonville. Mrs. Ogilvie is survived by: her husband, Quentin G. Ogilvie; a daughter, Rachel Allene Register; a sister, Sara Roddy Smith; 3 nieces, Christina Cox of Vestal, NY, V. Reid Smith of Austin, TX and Sara H. Smith of Knoxville, TN; and a nephew, Samuel E. Cox, Jr. of Raleigh, NC. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorials be made in her memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Research Institute, 154 Trapello Road, Lincoln, MA 01773.
