John (Johnny) W. Partain, born 11-23-1946 to Travis W. Partain and Eleanor Kathrine Bowers Partain; obit follows:

John Partain, age 53, died December 24, 1999, at Brookwood Medical Center.  Graveside services will be held Wednesday, 9:00 am at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home directing.  Survivors include sisters, Charlotte Carter, Thomasville, GA; Dorothy (Ray) Hannah, Northport; and Patricia (Lank) Williams, Orange Park, FL.; aunt, Grace Harrison, Thomasville, GA; Tim Smawley, Tallahassee, FL; several nieces and nephews, friends and care givers, special friend Hernan Moreno.  He was preceded in death by parents Travis and Eleanor Partain.
