WEST BLOCTON - Walter C. Duncan, age 61, of West Blocton, died Oct. 6, 2011, at UAB Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Memory Hill Gardens with Rev. Ray Jones officiating and Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Leon Duncan, and his biological mother, Mary Lou Creel.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Duncan; his daughters, Christy Dailey (Heath) of Fosters and Wendy Murillo of Cottondale; his stepchildren, Cheryl Wells of Farmington, Mo. and Brian Betke of West Blocton; his sister, Linda Miller (Mike) of Tuscaloosa; his brother, Wayne Duncan (Dianne) of Green Pond; his mother, Eva Duncan of Tuscaloosa; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
