TUSCALOOSA – William T. “Bill” Cole, 44, of 2515 Saratoga Lane died Sept. 20, 1994, in Tuscaloosa.Services were to be at 10 a.m. on Sept. 24, 1994, at Forest Lake United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Hal Noble was to officiate with burial in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park and Hayes Chapel Funeral Home directing.

He was a Tuscaloosa contractor, an avid musician, and active in local bands and music groups for most of his life.  He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Club of Tuscaloosa, a longtime member and past president of Tuscaloosa Tip-Off Club, and member of Homebuilders Association of Tuscaloosa.

Survivors include his wife, Constance Rigsby Cole, Tuscaloosa; a son, William Tilford Cole, Jr., Tuscaloosa; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry T. Cole, Tuscaloosa; and a sister, Roxanne Cole Hicks, Tuscaloosa.

Pallbearers were to be Nick Talantis, Bruce Caples, Joe Abernathy, Lee Foster, Al Cabaniss, James Sledge, Jack Rigsby, and Myron Rigsby.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to Boys and Girls Club of Tuscaloosa.
