TUSCALOOSA Susan Burnum Wade, age 56, of Tuscaloosa, died July 27, 2006 at home. A memorial service will be 10 a.m. today at Canterbury Episcopal Chapel with the Reverend Kenneth Fields officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the church immediately following the ceremony.Ms. Wade was the daughter of Celeste Evans Burnum and the late Dr. John F. Burnum.Survivors include her son, John Williford Wade; sisters, Frances B. Griffin and Celeste B. Burford (Jim); a niece, Celeste Griffin; and two nephews, Parker Griffin and Neil Griffin.She was dearly loved and will be missed by her many friends, especially her Jazzercise students.In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Canterbury Episcopal Chapel or to a favorite charity.
